fantastic deaver book
ive just finished 'the blue nowhere' by Jeffrey Deaver and (ive read 3 or 4 of his and the 'maidens grave' was my fave so far) it was the most gripping, twisty turny one yet and it was all abotu the internet and computers too.
I really loved it, never worked any of it out and didnt want it to end, It was un-put downable and even in my 'difficult patch' at the moment it took my mind off things.
If any of you like this sort of book (psychological thrillers) then I heartily recommend this one - its got to be his best ever.

I'll have to find that one out Maria. I've read some of his, but haven't
read one about computers. Sounds right up my street.

You would deffo like it Lorraine... they are all good and a bit like Coben but more focus on the killers mind. The Blue Nowhere is the best of the lot. DH is reading it now.

Steph, cheeky, that's what. She's verbally quick, too quick for me. It takes me 12 hours to think about it! I put it down to age related. Well that's my excuse. Did you get my April ATC ?

Re: fantastic deaver book
Yes Nona I did get your Goaty ATC - I was so pleased as I didn't
get one in the ATC swap. I'm sure I put on the ATC swap thread
that I had got it.

Re: fantastic deaver book
Ah you probably did but I get in a muddle around this forum. I remember now as I deliberately didn't give you one in the ATC swap so's I could send it as your permanent.
I think we better get back to the 'book' theme now on this thread.

Which one have you already read by today? and what one are you reading tomorrow, oh I forgot you will be back at work.
I am almost finished Deaver's The Devil's Teardrop, 4/5ths of the way through and its took a most unexpected turn. Super.

Re: fantastic deaver book
Well Teabag did give me the Blue Nowhere book, i started it last night and finished it this afternoon, in between dozing and cleaning up the kitchen, eating and opening mail....
and answering the phone 3 times to idiots goin on about credit cards/insurance etc..i was really really rude the 3rd time, i threatened them with an harrassment charge via the police...no further calls so far.
I really loved the book, i did guess a few bits, but mostly just fleeting ideas. I loved the ending, but i wanted to be able to read a second follow up book, of course there isn't one

Re: fantastic deaver book
Absolutely super book and I will never go on line again without wondering.
I think Jeffery Deaver punched my 'Bubble Bunch' for his title Blue Nowhere..
My 'bubble' is how I explained the internet to my 90 year old mum when she was alive. I just told her there was an invisibe bubble bunch floating above my home where messages and pictures came in and was sent out through it. Seemed to click. Well she remembered electricity first being used!

glad (and somewhat releived after you went and bought it) that you liked it as much as me. It made me wonder for weeks! definitely the best Deaver ive read... just read one called 'hells kitchen' and it was a load of rubbish!!!
Im glad you like blue nowhere though, and found it as scary as I did!

Re: fantastic deaver book
Well Maria, we (DH & me) thought it was so good we are passing it on to the bloke who fixes our PCs. That'll give him something to think about.
