A really lovely thing to have Lou, well done all of you.

There wasn't much done when I had it, but I did enjoy doing this.
It brought back memories of school, because art was always the 'only'
subject for me. Wasn't really interested in anything else.
I have to say what a great job everyone has done. Well done all.
I don't know if anyone saw my comment elsewhere, but I have
already decided my subject for next CJ time. When do we start ?

Think this is the one we were all thought would be the hardest but must say I enjoyed researching for my pages. It's beautiful Lorraine and something to treasure and read again and again I'm sure for you.

It's a beauty Lorraine you must be pleased with it. I was having kittens when I got this, I knew nothing about renaissance art but it surprised me, I really enjoyed working on it and I learned something as well. A beautiful book.

Absolutely amazing. Nothing else to say.

that is so gorgeous lorraine , very sophisticated and i love how everyone has used the right papers and everything to do the pages with . i imagine a lot of people learned a few things while doing this one .
did you know that leonardo da vince also invented locks ( canals )
i didn't until some old bloke along the canals last year was trying to impress me while we went through a lock together last year

This was definitely the hardest one to do. But that's not to say I didn't enjoy it because I did!

It's amazing what you can learn from these CJ's!

Well I saw this recently, but I enjoyed it much better than I thought, and enjoyed doing the research.

Im glad the book has come out so lovely for you.

This was one CJ I was dreading but to be honest it wasn't that bad at all. The book is fabulous no wonder you are thrilled with it.

I had to go through loads of stash before I found anything
suitable.

The use of papers was one of the first things I noticed too. All perfectly match the subject.

I knew it would be gorgeous, and it is.
Dreading what you'll choose next time, I thought that Art Deco was tough, until this one came along, how are you/we going to top that?

I'll be totally honest I was DREADING this CJ, having grown up surrounded by this kinda stuff from my parents (talking bookcases of artbooks) and being dragged round art museums I struggled for inspiration. Luckily my dad came to the rescue and sent me the David pics, I'm sorry I didn't put much info on my pages. They could do with less blank spaces!

Everyone elses pages are stunning! and I'm intrigued to what subject Lou will come up for her next CJ lol
