Lorraine's - Renaissance Art in Italy
Well, here's my journal girls. It's very image heavy, so be patient if it doesn't load quickly. There was so much to see and I still haven't been able to include all of the little pages and pics.
Once again, I thank you all from the bottom of my heart. You really have excelled yourselves.
My Front Cover.
Inside front.
Inside back.
Welcome page. Printed onto acetate.
My left page.
One open page from booklet on left page, under David.
My right page.
One of the sign in pages.
Karelyn's pages.
Helen's pages.
Patty's pages.
Steph's pages.
Cath's pages.
Kate's pages.
Cynthia's pages.
Sandy's pages.
Sue's pages.
Bob's pages.
Maria's pages.
So there you have it. Even if you're not an art lover, you've got to admit this is beautiful and I bet you enjoyed looking at it as much as I do.

Re: Lorraine's - Renaissance Art in Italy
There wasn't much done when I had it, but I did enjoy doing this.
It brought back memories of school, because art was always the 'only'
subject for me. Wasn't really interested in anything else.
I have to say what a great job everyone has done. Well done all.
I don't know if anyone saw my comment elsewhere, but I have
already decided my subject for next CJ time. When do we start ?

It's a beauty Lorraine you must be pleased with it. I was having kittens when I got this, I knew nothing about renaissance art but it surprised me, I really enjoyed working on it and I learned something as well. A beautiful book.

Re: Lorraine's - Renaissance Art in Italy
This was definitely the hardest one to do. But that's not to say I didn't enjoy it because I did!
It's amazing what you can learn from these CJ's!
It's absolutely gorgeous, Lorraine - you must be thrilled.

Re: Lorraine's - Renaissance Art in Italy
The use of papers was one of the first things I noticed too. All perfectly match the subject.

Re: Lorraine's - Renaissance Art in Italy
I knew it would be gorgeous, and it is.
Dreading what you'll choose next time, I thought that Art Deco was tough, until this one came along, how are you/we going to top that?

Karelyn. I'm sure I'll give it a good try.
I already have a good idea. My other passion. (and you'll all have to work hard again, ha, ha.)
This is totally stunning, isn't it?

Re: Lorraine's - Renaissance Art in Italy
Wow looks great Lou and I loved your covers, they were lush!
I'll be totally honest I was DREADING this CJ, having grown up surrounded by this kinda stuff from my parents (talking bookcases of artbooks) and being dragged round art museums I struggled for inspiration. Luckily my dad came to the rescue and sent me the David pics, I'm sorry I didn't put much info on my pages. They could do with less blank spaces!
Everyone elses pages are stunning! and I'm intrigued to what subject Lou will come up for her next CJ lol

Yep. Secret.
I don't want to put anybody off joining.
Curious as to what Bobs thinks it is now too though.
