CJ 2009.
Ok, who's up for another CJ?
No details or subjects yet, I just want an idea of who'd be interested to see if its worth doing another one.

Re: CJ 2009.
flipping heck, you are quick off the mark Lorraine...you are a glutton for punishment.
I might say a provisional yes, til i find out what is involved, if that is ok

Re: CJ 2009.
for me it would depend when it started. I would definitley not be up for doing one now, but I would definitely do it if it wasnt starting for a few months

Yes Lorraine, that goes for me too ... I would need to hang fire right now, for obvious reasons but please don't rule me out altogether!!

Re: CJ 2009.
Can we tell who's pleased with hers then?
Give us a break first please, was looking forward to a bit of time getting my own crafting done.

A break for a couple of months is perfect. That's what I've always done.
So count me in when it goes ahead!

Fabulous Kim - really pleased. Have you done one before ?
This last one was my first and I was a little nervous about taking
it on, but I loved it.

Re: CJ 2009.
yes i have done one before, but only one and it was fraught with so many probs it put me off doing one again , but this one seems to have run quite smoothly ,( unless you know something i dont) , so now i feel as if i could join in again.

Re: CJ 2009.
I found that Kim when I looked through the Get Well book I was sent
in July 2005. Very few on here that contributed. Shame and it
makes you wonder what happened to the ones that are no longer
around.

Re: CJ 2009.
I think the fact that we are a smallish group who all know each other, enjoy it and don't want to let each other down helps things to run smoothly.
Also we are understanding when life gets in the way and we would work around any problems that might arise. Saying that I would hope it runs as smoothly as the majority of this one has.

I've done 2 on here now and I can say hand on heart that this is the best forum for CJ's, there have been no probs at all with the cj's I've taken part in here, all communication has been A1, which is far more than I can say for others I've been in 2 that is, on diff forums and both suffered through lack of communication (and posting to me). No one minds things being early or delayed as long as they know what's going on, but that's never occured on here, to me anyway. I think I was warned of a late posting once but that never materialised and it was on time. Life does get in the way sometimes, but people here let you know and that's what makes the difference, to me anyway.
I say go for it, let the Canny crafters restore your faith.

Re: CJ 2009.
i never know which spelling to use for that either suzy!! so i generally put hear hear cos i want folks to listen up .and not here here cos i dont want them to come to me .
yes i think the reason it works on here is because we keep it small and friendly , the odd hiccup is to be expected of course but communication is the real key to making sure it goes back on track , the one i joined in was awful , someone dropped out part way through so someone we did not know had to join in , hence some peeps got work in there book from someone they did not know ,a lot of books got mislaid , and one went missing completely , i seem to remember we all had to redo a page for that , im not sure if im right in it being bobs book went missing .people did not post on time on a rgular basis with no comms to the next person , so a bit fraught for jan who organised it , bless her .
anyway it all came out in the wash and now im feeling confident in doing another one ...so bring it on
can we start thinking of themes now logging our choices ??? that can take a couple of months in itself , now who is being impatient ??? got you back lorraine pinch pinch !

Re: CJ 2009.
I am going to note my proposed CJ.
I would like it called My Crafts, and would like contributors to show their
favourite crafts, and/or their crafting history. For example, crafts you used
to do and have moved on, or you maybe, like me you dabble in all sorts. I
would like examples of your crafts and techniques. Even what you don't like
perhaps. Whatever you like. Last CJ I asked about favourite things, this
time I'd like your Crafting Things.

Re: CJ 2009.
If it's not for a couple of months count me in again Lorraine. Lots going on at work but this would give me the break I need from other stuff, and I really enjoyed this last one never having done one before - well only the small one for the first canny retreat.

Re: CJ 2009.
Ok. I'll get the ball rolling on this toot de suite then.
You'll have time to think of a subject and we'll have time to get a list up, but I'm thinking first posting towards the end of July sometime. Will that suit, or is it still too early for some of you?

Re: CJ 2009.
I would have to sit it out as we stand at the moment... sorry too many transition verbs in that... what i mean is, yes, its would be to early for me, as things are.
Suspect Patty is the same, for same reason, but she can answer for herself I dare say.
anyway, no reason why the rest of you should sit around waiting for us to be in a position.
