Received yours this morning KT, very cute and had a PM from Mistyrat saying she posted yesterday so should hopefully get them sorted this weekend, although that does depend on the dreaded report situation

dratted reports, my teacher is not panicking...but I am as I know it takes ages and other 'stuff' will crop up to slow her down...we were supposed to have done termly targets..but they haven't been done yet!!!!

Do you have to do 'B Squared' Helen..(on the computer entering data about their attainment levels) it seems to be one thing some of the teachers hate...personally..i love doing the inputting and cross checking.

I will be so excited once I know you have sent the atc's...i just can't wait to see them...Will you put photos up before we receive them, or afterwards?

I will probably put them up this weekend after I have sorted them ready to post (hopefully).

Yes, we use classroom monitor and we have to put their progress termly. At the start of the year we have to predict where they will be by the end of the year and during the year we have to check they are on target and than at the end of the year we have to see if they have met their targets and if they haven't we have to justify why they haven't. I do enjoy seeing the progress they make but I think at the age I teach (Reception) it is a mockery to predict where they will be in a years time in 13 different areas of learning! A lot happens when they are 4-5 that can affect their progress.

it is ridiculous, the little ones have enough stress and strain with coping with separation from carers and learning new words, making new friends and trying to be good....I really think it is far more important to monitor their happiness and their social skills...it really is putting pressure on the kids if all the government is interested in is figures...

I can imaging Helen, that you aren't a pusher, but that you are a super enabler....and nurturer..and then what ever you can gently get them to do..or stuff you observe..is used to get the info.

Just tell him...he has to.... or we will all come to visit and pick them up ourselves...and we might have to sleep over......

my set. Can I have 2 sets si I can frame one lot and keep the other set in

All posted today and I haven't done any sorting at all, just literally put them in a pile and took one of each for each person so you'll have to wait and see what you get

I received my lot this morning and they are all very nice. I am very pleased with this swap as it was a super idea and the end product is really something we can all be proud of.

Mine arived yesterday, which was amaing as i had such a scary time when i heard a car had bumped geri...so it cheered me up no end...also Tebag brought hers round so a double treat...well until i realised she got the atc with the tower on....so i am working on her to swap...wish me luck. x x x
