Kts New Craft Room

Ok so it's more or less sorted for the time being. All BIG cardboard boxes have been unpacked, new bookcase up and room on the desk to craft!

I will get some shelves up on the walls at some point, but not in any rush at the moment (especially as I'm broke ) and also want something from Ikea which is like a bar you attach to the wall and then you get these special hanging pots to put on it which I think would be cool for pens & pencils

Into the craftroom,


You can just see a glimmer of gold on one of the shelves lol (oh and ignore the boxes there lol)


Closer look at the desk! You can see by the window my new 12x12 drawers (though I'll be honest putting the papers in there was a bit of a squeeze, as the drawers themselves are 12x12 so you lose some space!)


And the new bookcase, top shelf is my shrine to Anne McCaffrey lol and also have all my old kiddies books on display now. The brown chair with the weird dog pillow is Garfields craft throne

Well done on getting it all sorted, you've squeezed a lot into a small space!

Tim is a huge fan on Anne McCaffrey and all her Dragons of Pern books etc.

Oh I love Anne McCaffrey, been re-reading her other series, Tower & Hive, Crystal Singer. Will start on the Freedom series soon
But of course Dragons of Pern are my faves! Who do u think got me into dragons

Did you find lots of bits you had forgotten about KT? I find sorting is almost as good as buying (almost!). Bet you're pleased to have somewhere to work.

I'm with Helen wondering if you 'found' anything. When I was rooting out papers for my Rainbow ATC's, I found loads of papers and stuff I'd forgotten about.

I only has a few of the Pern series (i think it must be up to about volume 301!) because I used to get them all from the library. When I have more money I will raid eBay and find 2nd copies which is what I did for her other much smaller series! However Billie I may just come rob your bookshelves

Actually I didn't find that much as I didn't really sort much out, just took it out of the big boxes and stick em on shelves as I did have a sort out last year when I split things into the clear boxes. To be honest I dont think I have NEARLY as much stuff as some of you lot, must rectify that

Also on the "small space", this room on the plans for the house is down as a double bedroom.................... A very very very small double bed I thinks! Though it's very spacious compared to my last room!
