Things you love about Scrapping

Now I can't just post about what ticks us off about Scrapping and not add what we love about it.

I love the escape I get with Scrapbooking, the fact that I'm enjoying creating, snipping, gluing, using my photos, memories and it will last.

I just love it all. I love the choosing of papers (even if my colours are a tad difficult to identify!) and I love finding an old photo and then making something reasonably good with it ... but most of all, just at the moment, it is keeping me sane as I can end the day with an hour or two's scrapping and forget the world for a little while. It sends me off to my bed happy and relaxed - no wonder I manage at least eight solid hours without moving in the bed!! I just love it all.

However I do love that I'm starting to make such a range of wonderful pretty things as I grew up with a family of artists and always feeling about as creative as lemon amoungst them lol

I love the patterned paper and ribbon especially, but best of all I like the finished, fattening books of memories Im finishing up with- so much nicer than just in flip photo albums.

I love the escape of it all too.

Not only scrapping, but crafting in general which includes card making, ATCs and making
my own postcards for entering competitions. I totally adore the whole hobby with
every bone in my body. It's not cheap to craft or to make your own cards, but that
doesn't matter to me. Crafting and comping keep my mind and fingers alert.

I think with scrapping I love having one or two photos and going through the process
of choosing papers, ribbons, embellies etc, and some nice memories while doing so.

I love the fact that it embraces most of the other things I've tried over the years, and I can use bits form other crafts/hobbies. I also love the keeping of it, as I've given most of my other work away.

I love the shopping/searching and buying.... well aint that a big surprise...

I do like scrapping/crafting etc, but dont get the time energy and motivation at the same time...

I particularly love the forum...and everyone on it..it is very important to me.

and me. Id get loads more done if I wasnt on here so much!!! but then what would be the fun in that?

Everything , I love everything about scrapbooking from start to finish. It is very pleasing to look back at your scrapbooks later and not only remember the time the picture was taken but also the fun you had doing the LO.
