Look what I'm getting

dh took my crafting table (which is really a desk) for downstairs. so instead of replacing with another table i want storage. i was going to go for the desk



but decided to go for this and this but i would also like this one so not sure on the second piece , this one is pretty good as well .

So any suggestions on which one i should get as my second piece?

I looked at these at a show and had gone to buy and decided against it as;
The drawers/shelves are brittle plastic and I'm not too gentle with things, and
The trays for the 12x12 are static, I thought they'd pull out but you just flick up the edge of the paper to see what you've got.
I decided that the RUB cupboards would be better for me. I do like the shallow trays though, great for seeing what stamps you've got at a glance.

Lucky you, it is great when everyhting is in ideal containers and storage, I'm still dreaming and in a mess, show us when you've got it all in and working.

what are the RUB cupboards? are they around the same price? tell me more.

Really useful boxes, they're very similar cupboards as those above with the correct apertures for those clear plastic boxes many of us have anyway, you can also get dividing trays for the boxes, which I haven't yet, but would like. The chap I sopke to at the show was very helpful and they often have deals on, so if you know someone going to a show soon get them to note down the code number you need for a show discount. I'm sure they'd be happy to chat with you on the phone about what you need, storage 4crafts isn't it?

yep. i have 2 rub boxes and 1 12 x 12 box by them but not too sure i like them. guess i'd better go back and check things out again before we order.

after doing more research, i think i'll stick with the above. i'm not rough with my things and i do have a plastic drawer thingy on wheels that has the harder plastic and it's doing fine.

i can't find anything else here in the uk everything is in america.

well i did show dh the one you're talking about and his reply was "not no but h*ll no" lol. i knew that. the one we would love goaty is £995 sooooo.......

In todays papercraft inspirations theres a great pic of one of the units in their comp £53 I think it said

i don't know what dh is going to do now. when i told him last night all he said was i'm sorry. i bet he's not.

now i have all of my things on the floor as he took my table out to put downstairs to but yet another computer in the lounge.

tell him you want 1 or the other jane , the £995 one or the ones you were going to have in the first place .
just go for it , b*g**r the expense , once you have it , thats it forever unlike computers that always need replacing . how many does he have in the lounge , why more than 1 ??

the only really big storage unit i have is a 12 a4 drawer office unit,and the frame is metal.
i got it for about £50 from tescos office section online and i love it!!!its on wheels too!!willl see if i can find a link,
if they still have them.but if your looking for desk probably wont be what you want.

they look nice. i was looking for something to help with 12 x 12 and all of those are a4. i may consider them if worse comes to worse.

What about getting a big table (look on Freecycle) and then have some custom shelves up up by hubby?

awwe lorraine sweetie it's alright. i might not be getting since we missed the sale.

beside dh was rushed to hospital tonight and will probably be off work a few days. since he is self-employed that means no pay so i won't be getting anything for a while.
