Altered Mini Book

Mum bought this book for me ages ago & I finally got round to covering it yesterday. Used an idea that was in my craft magazine to add an acetate front to it & have decorated on both the cover & the acetate layer.

Of course not got a clue what to do with it now!

That's lovely, Kate. Is it plain paper inside? With that on the cover it would be an ideal book to put crafting ideas in: bit like a sketch book but for notes as well.

Yep, a crafting book. I have one and when I get an idea, I write it down to remind me to try it sometime. I also do a rough job of my sketches in it before doing them for upload.
(which reminds me, I haven't done July's, tsk, tsk).

thats a good idea ,you could jot down any plans you have of a project , that way you will
1...not forget about it
2...will not lose the instructions
3...have something to do when the inspiration has left you

very pretty and great idea to use it as a craft book, I scribble in a note book so one like this would look much nicer.

lovely job youve done there Kt. write down some ambitions, dreams, hopes - one on each page and decorate the page. When you feel down you can flick though it and keep yourslef on track.

May have a root around in my ribbons box tonight & see if I can find any fibres to decorate it with.

It's lovely, liking the ideas above, especially the ideas one as it has 'dreams' on the front.

Very pretty and it could be a notepad of some sort for any kind of ideas.
