Perfect Peace

A layout done this week with a Total Papercrafts kit - added some die cut flowers and butterflies with the left-over papers.

smashing layout mum, and I like the saying too, very you - not your normal colours but you've done it beautifully.

No I agree, but I didn't realise at first that the posting was under LOs.

A smashing layout Patty, the colours are lovely and I like the flowers and butterflies.

Love the colous on this Patty and the flowers and little birdies too.

is that your boat in the pic ?
did you have your own boat or hire them ?

Alas Kim, Patty and ken did not have their own boat at any stage, but they did used to go regualarly on hire ones and my uncle (Pattys brother) had his own for a while but it was too big to be manageable.

That's a lovely layout Patty, love all the embellishments.

Kim - that was on the Montgomery canal - really quiet.

Goaty - you need your glasses changed!!! The red(brown) "thing" hanging is actually the canal boat sitting in the canal on its mooring!!!! She should have gone to Specsavers, or what?

its not on blue which would be water, it looks like its hanging in a tree....... i really cant see it clearly.....its on grass or in a tree...who was driving...

It looks green in the water because of the reflections Goaty.
If I kept an album of my favourite LOs of others, this would be in it.

some pics of the canals do get pretty confusing because of all the green reflections , they are really awkward to paint because of it , too much green
canal water is def . not blue .

One canal we went on (Erewash) it was like tomato soup!!

yuk, although i love tomato soup i wouldn't want to sail in it

just before the harecastle tunnel it is orange /copper colour
