Card Workshop Cards Empty Card Workshop Cards

Post by karinlouise Wed 12 Aug 2009 - 22:25

These are the cards I made today in the workshop I finally got to. Sorry about flash and lighting, still learning with this camera but you can get gist of what they look like.

Lovely Oriental backgrounds and stickers to go with this one, as soon as I saw the black/lilac background I knew what I was doing with it.

A couple of Frosty snowman Cards, I love using this stamp but he's really difficult to get hold of. The hexagon was supposed to be an octagon but picked up wrong template, then drew round him wrong but it all came together. A5 card not totally to my liking but then I won't be keeping it so its upto someone else LOL. I stamped him and embossed in white first but then decided I didn't like it so did it in blue. Had to use white though, can't waste anything. Very Happy

This is for my neighbours little girl who is two next month. Have used this before to do a Christmas stocking for a child but never actually cut it out as a card before. I like it.

This one really doesn't do justice on the photo. Its a lovely shade of pink with pink mirror board for backing of each rectangle. Have decided to give this one to Lily for Christmas.
Its an unusual shape and fold. Had to measure for a card one of other ladies had brought it, but once you've done it once its brilliant.

Lovely selection of unusual cards, that last one looks very interesting - thought it was 3 cards until you said you were going to "give this one" to Lily.

Oh Lorraine I never would have thought you'd say that Mr Green I'll work out the dimensions and folds for the last one then put it up in a picture for people to see and use.

thats the prob with the flash. Its actually pink !!! The background card I chose has pale pink background with gold snowflakes so I chose pink mirror board and pink paper embossed with snowflakes for the background. Then the snowman is die cut on pink mirror.

Have decided to keep this one for Lily for christmas cos I love it so much.

Have put the instructions to this steeple card in the tutorials (well Lorraine did !!!)
