Exhibition
Well, I've taken my courage in both hands and have decided to show these three photographs at a small Visual Arts Exhibition in a wee village close to here.
It runs during the last weekend of this month, but the entries have to be handed in this week.
Obviously, this pic doesn't really do them justice! Lol
I wish I wasn't so nervous!!!

There are all great - and I'm not saying that because we know you.
Will they be for sale ? Can you get feedback ?
All very exciting.

They're great, Bobs, and the superb framing really sets them off. Hope you're going to put a big price tag on them!

Re: Exhibition
Thanks, ladies!
I have to own up to being brave enough to enter them, but not brave enough to put them up for sale!

Go for it Bobs, you will be able to pay for your retreat weekend ten times over if they get the price they deserve, because they are truly great!

Re: Exhibition
I chickened out of putting them up for sale, I'm afraid!!
What can I say? I'm a wimp! Lolol
However, I drove up today and they are now officially entered. Next time I see them, they will be hanging in the exhibition! Woot!!

Re: Exhibition
Well, I managed to get Kerry motivated to put some of her photographs in too. Her style of photography and mine are totally different - ahe loves landscapes and I love the world in miniature. Although we both love protraiture as well.
Egging each other on, we have put all our pics up for sale after all! £20 each. I don't think any of mine will sell, but I'm pretty certain Kerry's will - at least some of them!
I'll be taking my camera when we go for the preview on Friday evening ...... if I'm allowed to use it, of course!

Re: Exhibition
Well I hope all your pics do well, though dont you think it's a bit weird someone could have Tim hanging up on their wall in their house
Re: Exhibition
Absolutely, Kate!!!! Which is why I didn't really want to put them up for sale!

Re: Exhibition
You can always sneak a sold sticker onto the one of Tim!
Good luck to both of you.

It's this weekend coming, Alison. The pics had to be in by last week, but the exhibition itself starts this Saturday.
I'm getting a wee bit excited now!

Re: Exhibition
A couple of sneaky pics taken during the preview evening! Taken with my little Kodak point and shoot, so please excuse the reflections in the glass! lol
Here are my three pics ( top left and the two on the right):
The four monochrome ones in the silver frames are Kerry's - and the winning shot is the one with the ticket stuck to it at the bottom right!

Re: Exhibition
Well done to Kerry. Hope the prize is something worthwhile, but at the end of the day,
it's nice to have your work recognised.
