A card from KIm
The poem reads
My Canny Friends
some of the happiest times of my life
Are times you and I spend together.
For deep in my heart I consider you special
Some of my dearest friends ever.
Time after time I've enjoyed your nice company
Warmed by the closeness we share.
And when there were days
That I needed encouragement,
I knew you'd always be there.
Time and again I've been ever so grateful
For having good friends like you-
My friends for all times,
To confide in, to count on, and treasure
A whole lifetime through.
The very best of wishes
For all times
and especially at Christmas
Have a really good one
Heaps of Good Wishes
Love from Kim.
x
I would have scanned it, but I do not think you would have been able to read the words.
The card looks beautiful, so simple but so effective.
THank you KIm.

Re: A card from KIm
thanks ladies ,i have noticed a spelling mistake just now ...gggrrr i hate spelling errors .
maria the metal tree thingy ( love the way you describe some things ) is a brad ,i had a lovely set of 12 ,all different and they are almost gone now !!!
the paper is basic grey , when i saw it i just knew i had to use that section of the sheet and do almost nothing to it as it would have spoiled it

Lovely card, and unless Jo has already changed the error I can't see one.

Yes, that paper is gorgeous, Kim, and you're right that it doesn't need too much with it. Lovely verse, too: echoed by all of us, I guess.

It's lovely and very unusual, you wouldn't get that in the shops.
Lovely brad too.
