Of my two, the bigger babe was by far the easiest, scrawny one had a heck of a job. I'm told it's because the bigger ones are strong enough to push themselves out.

Yes, me too. Mia was difficult and only 6 lbs 10, whereas Tim popped out like a cork in 20 minutes flat, no gas and air or anything and he was 9lbs 10 ozs. I looked very reminiscent of your girl Lorraine - hope Aidan is as good a babe as was Tim.

Have they said that he is going to be a bit of a bruiser? I got very big when I carried Neil but it was a lot of fluid and he was less than 6lb born.

I was huge like that on Kira my 1st, and she was only average size of 7lb 6.5oz, I looked like a beached whale

Maria and Kate. Just what I expected, lol.

She has dropped, Jo, he's right down.

She is very, very uncomfortable and he is pressing down on her hip causing pain and she's struggling to walk. She has a midwife appointment this afternoon, so we'll just have to wait and see.

One of my midwifes called it the pre birth waddle - so uncomfy to
walk that you do waddle. Do you think they will keep her in ? Some areas
still to waiting for baby to come on their own while others can't seem to
wait to start babies off.

They don't rush to get them out here, Steph but because Nic had an operation on her hip, it's weaker than normal so I'm hoping that they'll do something so she doesn't get any more damage.

Ah, that's different. She obviously entitles to more of a waddle
than most. In that case it would be nice if they helped her along.

I was very small with Lee at 7.11 but huge with Nic and she was 7.9.

The midwife has given her a sweep. She said they don't normally do it until at least 7 days late, but if Nic requested it then she'd have to put it on the record. Anyway, between them, they decided to do it and it would also help if Nic could go to the loo. She came home armed with lactulose, orange juice and chocolate.

The midwife said Aidan is nearly ready to come out as she could get Nic to 4 cm and feel his head too.

They're not all that big either, and it's not a flattering angle, I'm glad it was fashionable to hide your bump when I had mine, I would have killed my mum if she'd taken a pic of me like that, then and now LOL
At least it's winter, she'll be lovely and warm.

Maria, one thing you cannot beat is the feeling of that little person moving inside you, that helps with the discomfort.
Don't forget some people cart that ammount of extra around for fun, blokes often look like this without being pregnant.

I mean arent the next five sqwalling years and the next 40 years of worry punishment enough without doing THIS to yourself... and Im sure it will be painful too and you cant drink or ever do what you want ever again... gosh, the rest of the human race is made of stronger stuff than me, thats for sure.

no, I'm sorry but I have thought about it and I have to disagree with you Maria. I would definitely rather give birth to a baby than a dog or a foal

me too Tina, i thought exactly the same thing.

I was only saying to Andy last night that i felt so proud to say that I conceived, was the sole provider of care, safety and nutrition for the growing baby and then fed all of mine, 3 for a long time past 14 months, but awkward Geri was the one i had to stop feeding much much earlier than we both wanted.

It was a special thing to be able to do, but spoiled in some way by having 3 C-sections out of 4 births.

I had a sweep Lorraine and Rosie was born the next day. Nics tummy doesn't look like she's dropped, it looks high up thats why I said that. That feeling is awful when the head is down,lol. Maria would love that.

I loved being pregnant actually, now the births were something else!

Oh, believe me, Jo her tummy is lower than it was. I think she's having a teenager.

Funnily enough (with me not being very maternal and not liking kids in general) I loved being pregnant too.

Bless her she is very big I hope things happen soon, I know I was big with my boys but It's easy to forget the size.
I enjoyed being pregnant too.
