Karins Challenge 5 Work Those Words

Ok, deep breath !!! This is the first scrapbook layout I have done in nearly 3 years. I found the photos in a little wallet pack thingy . Both of these pictures must have been printed at some point and so I decided I would do a LO with them.

I decided on striped paper background to match the wallpaper. Blue for the recliner chair and pink for mine and Lily's tops. The blue matt piece has a rounded top to match the recliner as does the pictures and words. The pink strips are to match the vest straps on the tops.

The flower middle is a sort of plastic coin which I found in my drawer, I don't know where it came from I think it must have been a swap at some time. On one side it says 'Loves Me' and the other 'Loves Me Not'. Obviously I have stuck it so that the 'Loves Me' bit is in the middle of the flower.

The tag under the top picture says about the chair coming from my parents and that they always used to play the 'Lets Pretend to be Asleep' game whenever they heard me coming downstairs. And that it was always lovely to cuddle the cat. This is Chewy the cat we lost nearly 3 years ago at the age of 13.

Forgot to say I did the wording on my PC again and coloured it in with pro-markers. The colours bled a bit but it makes it look soft like the cat and cuddles !!!!

The start of a re creative streak, I like the flower centre, and the titles are sweet.

Love your titles. Sometimes I think that's the hardest thing to
sort out on a LO. Lily is so sweet.

Snuggles and Huggles are the words we always say to get a hug from her so I thought that the type of hug in the picture was right for each of these words. Both Martin and Lily liked it.

Told Lily this morning that all these I do, because I want to do special times of the year, she will get to keep when Daddy and I aren't here anymore.....she just smiled. Don't think that sentence registered with her !!!
