Yes, they're a chipboard I bought especially for the swap (at the enormous cost of.....£1.65, lol). 3 colours of distress ink, then stamped, then crackle painted parts and then coated the lot with Modge Podge.

Ah Modge Podge. I've never tried that. I've been playing with crackle paints
recently.

so that's the idea behind textured alphabet. very nice lorraine.

on the subject of modge podge, next time i go to the states who wants to come and show me how to use it. my mom wants to cover a plastic lunch box with pics of elvis. thing is i didn't know how to use the modge podge.

Just brush it on, Jane or better still, use a foam brush. It'll dry clear.
You can use it as a glue too, so stick the pics on with it and then brush it over the whole lot.

These are gorgeous, wow, fantastic job there.

I got modge podge when I first learnt to do decoupage candles. You paint it over (carefully) the image and it seals. Of course now I just use a heat gun and tissue paper !!!!!! Lorraine Icon_wink
