I'm not having problems, Goaty. Not this time. I'm getting on great with them and using techniques I've either not used before or not used for a very long time. Plus, of course, some very common bits too.

I think I said that I'd done the backgrounds but didn't know what to put on them. Sussed that now.

if things were calmer at work..i would do a craft session with the darlings...using recycling topic.....i have so many ideas......including tag making...lol

after 3 miserably useless attempts, i finally got them finsihed late last night...so as i knew darn well i would not get to post office, i dropped them off at teabags house this morning with envelopes and stamps..at 8am. Teabag tells me that they are in the hands of Royal Mail....receipt in her hands..lol sorry for delay but i just kept messing up..i used Memories dye ink pad..to distress but it all soaked thru and looked crap and wouldn't dry...so after re-cutting an third lot of tags...i messed up with the Double sided tape and ruined more.

i could have balled my eyes out..i knew i really didn't want to back out...but with all the stress at work, home and then trouble making them..i can tell you i got close to it.

Anyway Lorraine, they are now on their merry way, please dont send teabag one as i made one extra for me and one for her. thanks for your patience x

I realise now the date I got mixed up with is that the 26th is when my ancestry subscription ends, when I'm not on here I'm looking for family history. It's kind of taken over lately while I've been getting as much done as I can.
I don't think I'll sub again until later when the 2011 census gets published, it's quite a whack of money all at once.

I pay for one month every now and then Gillian, wait until there are a few things I want to look at. Not much help now as we have either found all we can on there, or things are too early for the records or as you say need 1911 Census to go further.

Thats a good idea Di that would suit me better as I've got most of what I can, just a few stragglers.
