Post by WeirdCat Thu 10 Jun 2010 - 14:35

This is the one I resent having to make but can't stand to make it crappy as I still care what he thinks (grr!), so ex husband's Fathers Day card it is as it needs to get sent soon, another Karen's Doodles image

Father's Day Empty Re: Father's Day

Lou can you tell me why, when the original image is perfectly clear do the black lines go pixelly in the smaller image? I don't think it did in the turtle pic and I didn't do anything different

Do you really have to make him one? I wouldn't have thought an ex FIL would mind if you didn't send a card. Break the habit next year and give yourself a break, does he send you a birthday card etc?
It's a great blokey card anyway.

Think its Ruths ex that the card is for Karelyn, from the boys.

Nice card even if it's hard to do Ruth, the colours you have used match the backing well.

I'm not sure what you mean, hun but if you mean the lines of shadow etc (and round the black circle on turtle card) then it's purely the low resolution used for monitor viewing. Nothing you've done. It will actually be happening on the colours too but as the contrast between black and other bits is so drastic, it's more visible.

It's a great card but I'm afraid he wouldn't be getting one from me either. Putting Granddad on and sending from the boys would be a different matter.

Another super image, Ruth. Mr Green

Am I reading it wrong? Ruth says it's "ex husbands F D card" -so not for her ex FIL but for her ex husband. So card made for her boys to send to their dad...... maybe..... yes..... no......?? lol

Oh right, that, sort of makes sense, but shouldn't they be making their own? I don't make them from my kids, never have. Just thought it was Ruth would have made for her ex to give his Dad,
Still a nice card, whoever it's for.

No, I'm not putting my 'to do' list here, that would be far to organised, PLUS I would have to keep it up to date  Laughing

lol. Think we are straight now.

If Ruth's boys are like most I know they wouldn't dream of making a card, it would be a terrible chore to even go and buy one! Neil used to send bought ones, Gregg doesn't usually bother and just gives a pressie.

If I didn't make one, he wouldn't get one, unless I went out to the shop and bought a card!LOL. I suppose I should just send them off to the co-op and they can each buy one but that'd be far too expensive.
