Lorraine asked if I had any more of the lace I offered round at one of the retreats: unfortunately, I'm down to my last few yards and I think I bought if off the sales table at either Embroiderers' Guild or Essex Handicrafts. No doubt something that someone was getting rid of, so goodness knows how old it is.

We have found a few that are similar, though, so if anyone is in a similar predicament (in need of some narrow, antique-looking lace), then please shout.

im always in need of lace lynda as i use it on my wedding cards . did you give us a piece of the very wide vintagey beaded lace at the retreat cos ive just used my last piece of that one Wink

If it was gorgeous then it probably wouldn't have been from me, anyway, Kim! As far as I can remember, I haven't had any lace with beading on - far too exotic for my second hand collection lol.
