You are very naughty, but Postie has just delivered a fantastic selection of C*******s goodies to my girls!

I had to explain that you were very organised and made all your c*******s cards in the height of summer , and they thought that maybe it was quite a good idea to make a few as they go along.

Gosh that was quick - only posted them yesterday. Sent a batch to
our Lily as well.
I was having a tidy out of the Christmas craft (big) box and thought of the girls
so hope they can use them.

They loved it all! It's nice to have it all in the box, they can keep the C*******S stuff together and be really organised.

I actually had a two tier lime green box 12 x 12,with two drawers in it
that I was going to send it all in and it all fitted nicely, and would have
kept everything together, but would have cost me double to send, so
unfortunately had to abandon that idea.

Well Lily's parcel has just arrived. I guessed it was from you and have put it on the table for her to open when she gets home. She's gonna be over the moon.

Thank you so much for thinking of her. I finally remembered to show her the photo of you and me taken at breakfast and she grabbed the camera off me and wouldn't hand it back. Thinks it great she's now seen what you look like.

I'm glad it's arrived. As I said, I know it's early to be thinking of
C******** cards but I had a sort out and thought of our three
young crafters.
If she's anything like Lauren, she'll be chuffed to get her own
parcel - warn her it's Christmas stuff though - hate her to be
disappointed if she thinks it's something else.

Lily will be over the moon regardless. My sweet angel is never disappointed with anything. She even likes getting clothes as presents of course the only problem is she is going to want to do something straight away, and today is the worse day of the week. She is at after school club which then leaves us with an hour for tea before I go out at 6pm. Will def have to promise craft time tomorrow night. She's going to need more drawer space before long too

LOL I don't mind if you want to hide it for a day or two. I know
it arrived - that's the main thing.

Well I didn't hide it and left it on the table, but she had to wait to open it as we were reading her school report first.

I helped open it at the right end, and she pulled it out bit at a time. All I could hear was 'wow', 'aw mummy' and 'look at this'.

I mentioned to her about your warning of it being christmas stuff, but as she'd already opened it I asked if she was ok with it, that its for christmas cards and the look on her face was a picture, a very big frown as if to say, don't be such a silly sausage . She loved it Steph. The only other thing she asked me was "how old is steph" no idea why.

When I was a teenager, I thought Den's sister was old. She
was in her 30s

To be honest I don't really know how old you are, but I worked on my mums age and said you were 60-70 . My mum is 64 now. Lily just did a sort of 'hmm, ah' face. You know when you lengthen your chin type of action.

I think we see age as old when its 20-30 years older than us, until we reach the 40 stage, and suddenly you think old is 90. At least I did with my gran. To me now, knowing the people I do, I don't think any of my friends are old. Just that their age is a bigger number than mine if that makes sense.

Lily has only ever asked me once, what was it like in the olden days !!!!!!!!!!!! I laughed to start with and then told her that I didn't live in the olden days. She'd be doing victorian times at school.

There you go you see, I knew you weren't far off my mum. But I couldn't rem which side of hers. That why the broad range. If I'd said oh I think 60 or 64 or something like that, Lily would have asked for definates. She's like that you know !!!!!
