There is nothing random about this particular act of kindness that I have just received.

Thank you so very much, everyone, for your lovely lovely book and the super pashmina too - Ive never had a proper pashmina and I shall do as you say Lorraine, and when I snuggle into it I shall imagine myself enveloped in a hug from you all. It is such glorious rich colours, and so comforting.

That books is just fantastic. I am so glad I savoured it and didnt rush opening it earlier. You have all made such lovely pages, with such beautiful sayings and kindnesses in it. It will gladden me throughout many a dark hour and I have to say that Tina's words in the book ring out and out and in my ears - she wrote that when it hurts to look back and you are afraid to look ahead, look to the side and you will see your friends there. Well that sums up how I feel EXACTLY, and you are always there beside me and have been right from those early darkest of days.

I love all the pages - Billie, that mans best friend rhyme is so utterly appropriate and I love the lovely distressed pages and beautiful colours everyone has used. You really are friends of the very top order, and whatever you think about the post here, this has arrived on a very good day indeed, when I am more than a little fed up and how can anyone be fed up with something like that arriving.

I truly couldnt have got through this without you - I know Im not out of the woods yet but you are all keeping me going and on a path of sorts. I feel very loved and comforted by this and I can see the tremendous effort you have all put in to this, and I suspect too, it was no mean feat to organize it. Be assured that I love it, will treasure it and will keep it beside me to brighten the dark spells,

I KNOW they are from the heart, it shows, it truly does - you cant fake that sort of thing, and everyone sounds like themselves. It is because its from the heart that its so good.
