Here's summat I did with them. I'm not impressed, I think I need more practice.

Re: PRISMA'S
Well I am glad they arrived, at least, although the sharpening looks a bit of a nightmare. How about using a penknife instead of the sharpener. And I think the results and lovely ... what are you, a perfectionist then??? (LOL) And oh how I LOVE those house mouse stamps!

I love the first photo - don't know why, but there's something about it.
I rarely use a sharpener, but a scalpel which I use for crafting.

Good attempt at colouring, I will be honest your house meece are a liddle too dark though I do like the purple flower in the one stamp! Overall 110% better than I can do! I really wanna get some prisma's but colouring is soooooooooo not my strong point!!! You should ask Ruth which prisma she marked as house mouse feet
Steph - I like the pencil sharpenings as well all pretty and colourful!
I'm pretty sure my dad told me you should sharpen drawing pencils with a knife rather than a sharpener (he'd know he's the only one out of the lot of us who can draw).

I LOVE the first one too. see if you can sell it to them as a marketing ploy. its an excellent photo and something that would be super on the wall of a craft room. At least put it on your blog.

Maybe a little bit dark but certainly nothing to worry about too much!

Re: PRISMA'S
i reckon they are really good lorraine , i do think you might be putting a bit too much colour on before dragging it out though , try putting a bit less on then you will get more of the light and dark shading .
it is true that you get use from the pencils if you use a knife to sharpen them , they are meant to last longer and break less . a great tip i learned about prismas too is that if you drop them and they break and then are a bind to sharpen cos the lead is broke ,,,,,just pop them in the microwave on high for 3 SECONDS ONLY and it re-melts the lead and heals the break.

Re: PRISMA'S
Cheers, girls. I am a bit heavy handed, yes. I'll try to put less on.
The only reason there's lots of shavings is 'cause they come unsharpened so had to do the lot. All 36 of them. I don't normally use a sharpener.
I'll keep practicing. I've just done a bowl of lillies and they're a bit full on too.

Re: PRISMA'S
I used to keep pencil shavings when I was a kid, I imagined I'd make pictures with them, I think I even tried once and it was not a success LOL
These are all great, send the failures to me, I likes them.

Re: PRISMA'S
Is wondering why House Mouse stamps use rabbits, 'cause I'd stake my life on it that the little fella with the bottle is a bunny. and as it was one of Kate's stamped images, I'm assuming it's supposed to be a mouse.

Re: PRISMA'S
No they do rabbits as well, and bears, they have different ranges, gruffalos or something
Re: PRISMA'S
Lorraine - the pencil sharpenings photo would be great in your album. Perfect.
