What I did in Brum
A graze snack box painted, stamped and stickled. I liked the swirls so much I bought the dies once I got home
I put some sayings on the 7 blank sides that were left, including the first one you see at the top, I sent this to DS2 at Uni, there are about 32 little pics on the flaps
This is a mini book that I haven't put pics in yet, it's made using wage/dinner money envelopes, there's a tag in each pocket and the plainer pages are for journalling. I was quite pleased with this as it used a good few scraps and a sheet of paper I didn't like and it looks ok.
A masking/misting class; the one I missed due to arriving late
same class using the mask as a template and hand cutting the blue 'embellishment' the spray is supposed to be shiny but I don't think I shook the bottle enough
This one looks nicer IRL, there are pearls on it.
We used a large circle as a mask and the stamped frame is using a flower shaped stamp, half of it showing and the other masked IYSWIM. I hand stitched the ribbon on and I wish I'd done it a bit less frilly now, but I needed a bit of play to go round the circle and it's a bit mob capish now.
A sketch class
My speed scrap class
I think you'll like this one, the flower and easel trim are made from beer cans inked, embossed in the bug and stamped and generally messed about with, the swirl again.

Sorry, no idea why it's gone sideways, it's saved the right way up, have a drink or use your imagination. The easels are from Ikea apparently.

Re: What I did in Brum
All lovely stuff Karelyn - we always seem to get so much done at a retreat or weekend away, I know, and I am always so pleased to learn the new techniques. I used to do a lot of the inked cans and then cut them, but haven't done it for a while so thanks for the reminder!!!

No, I'm not putting my 'to do' list here, that would be far to organised, PLUS I would have to keep it up to date
Re: What I did in Brum

Re: What I did in Brum
Excellent stuff Karelyn. There's things there I've never tried so will probably have a go at some. They're all super layouts and I love the box.
