New Years Eve Wedding

lily looks so pretty and all grown up .gorgeous she is . isn't it funny how when we talk about a person on a regular basis we build up an image of what we expect them to look like ..... well martin looks nothing like what i imagined him to be like .pmsl

Well, Lily does look so grown-up, as you say, Karin! She looked lovely in her dress, and nice one of you and Martin, too. Have to say that as I get older I find I don't try to imagine how people look, in the way I used to, so had no pre-conceived ideas about Martin.

LOL Billie, hmmm it was a shock when they said they wanted kilts...they did look nice though. Guess it was cos it was at Gretna and it looks different to tux

Kilts look fine, personally not so keen on black on a little girl, but that's just me, not my wedding so I'll butt out. She looks beautiful and you and Martin scrubbed up pretty well too, what nice pics of you all, agreeing re the coat I'd have looved that too, what a good day it turned out to be.
Next job; scrap them, then show and tell.

dont know what i expected martin to look like really ,just not realised he had a beard and thought he was of smaller build /stature than the picture suggests ,i also imagined him to have light brown hair that he kept at quite a long length. why i dont know ,just my picture i have of him or should i say had of him ,its all changed now as i know what he looks like now pmsl

You all look fantastic and I can't believe how much Lily has changed!

I must admit black would not have been my first choice either and I'm not really sure why she choose that colour, but it came to gether on the day. All guests had to wear the theme colour too...only a couple that didn't so looked nice.

LOL Kim, I can't get him to grow his hair past his ears never mind anythign else, he cuts it himself and I wish he would just let it grow a bit, starting to get the tell tale render bald er I mean thin spot on the middle of the head. As for goaty beard, it annoys me I hate beards, but thats his choice.

Jo, yes she has definately changed. I'm tidying loft and craft stuff at the moment and half hour ago came across my scrap books with more pages than I realised, and there is one I absolutely love and she just looks so so cute and chubby faced....not that she isn't cute now, just older cute LOL

Black? Well, why not I suppose, lol. Lily looks very, very grown up.

Martin doesn't look like I'd imagined him either, lol.

Is it the season for beards - Malcolm has decided to grow one, really to annoy me and 2 of our male nurses and one of the doctors have appeared with them after Christmas!

LOL Cath don't know but martin's had this goaty type one for a couple of years now, I know in november a lot of men grow them for Movember....in support of prostate cancer.
