Sorry can't help laughing, it is a bit close to the wood though. DS1 does this to himself when he comes home as they're not allowed it that short.
It will grow back quickly, this time next week he'll be gorgeous again, well he still is, just bald and gorgeous.

Oh I can remember when the boys had theirs like that, Lesley used to cut their hair, and she had put the wrong head on the clippers so she just carried on, and had to do both boys or there would have been tears, it was summer, it grows back very quickly.

A few boys at school have haircuts like this, it does seem a bit too extreme for kids so young. Adults maybe, but not children
