Re: SECRET SANTA...
some people will have done that steph...the idea is that people dont know who sent it until they have opened the pressie. i am desperate to know who my santa is..then i can guess what they might have wrapped for me...lol
I love surprises..well discovering what the surprise is mostly...

Re: SECRET SANTA...
I've always included my name on the card in the parcel. I know it doesn't remain secret for too long, but hey the suspense until this is horrendous !!!!!

Re: SECRET SANTA...
Ah - see you can tell I've never done one of these before.
I haven't opened the card that came with my parcel (still unmolested Patty LOL)
so I'll have to wait until Thursday to see if there is a name.

Re: SECRET SANTA...
I'm coping, but only cos I peeked at what Gary got me also helps that the royal mail seem to be holding mine hostage somewhere, if it was actually here now that would be a different story! lol

naughty kate , i never peek at parcels , i just blatantly open them . but only my ss , and only a few of them . i tried to figure out who mine was looking at the postcaode and did not recognise it from all my addresses.

Re: SECRET SANTA...
I think I know who mine is from the postcode but someone could be playing tricks as there are no other clues. My person will know who sent because I used a box that had been sent to me and only markered out the name and address, didn't think until it had been posted but the gifts inside the box are wrapped so there will still hopefully be an enjoyable surprise.
My friend gave me a present yesterday and I accidentally peeked a little bit as the wrapping tore, but it was only a little peek!

Re: SECRET SANTA...
I'm so sorry yours didn't get there, Kate. I really hope it turns up but I'm glad the rest got there.
I'm assuming Sandy got hers anyway, so that will be all of them.
Thanks for joining the swap everybody and it sounds like you all did a brilliant job with them.

Re: SECRET SANTA...
I am so very, very sorry Karelyn that I am so late in saying a huge thank you for my Secret Santa, especially when it was so very generous, but I do hope you will understand things are a bit difficult just at the moment. I was truly delighted with every single item - thanks so very much. I had a hand made little book with very clever photos of me and my garden in it (and no, I didn't think it was cheeky, just very talented to be able to think of it!!), a complete tub of screw brads that everyone on here knew I coveted! Also an Argyll Cuttlebug folder, some wooden tree decorations, a hugely huge (and beautiful) white flower, some tiny brass heart stencils, a dilly little boxful of brads (dragonflies too!), gems and other bits and, best of all, a complete TINFUL of Paris Carte Postales, which will be so wonderful on all my travel layouts.
See what I mean girls, wasn't I a lucky little person?

Re: SECRET SANTA...
So glad you liked it, Patty, I was a bit worried that Ken wasn't too good, but thought that you'd had pc probs, so wasn't sure.
I had to slap a few wrists about those brads I can tell you, once you said you wanted some, I found out where I could get them, then at least 3 people tried to tell you where to get them from yourself, and I had to hush them up LOL. Thanks girls for not letting on.
Kate it might be worth phoning or visiting the sorting office anyway, and leaving any details you have, as I once had 4 parcels returned to sender as an incompetant rookie postie hadn't put a note through the door saying they'd been sent there. It could be sat there waiting for you. It's such a pity you havent got it, and you could do with something nice just now.

Re: SECRET SANTA...
I can't believe it took so long to reach you, did you examine the underneath of the parcel to see whether it had grown little legs and walked to you having given up with the post office?

Good news Kate. Think that was 100 % safe delivery wasn't it, even if it
was a bit late.
