JANUARY 2013 SWAP - ATC with a twist

Lorraine has given me the go-ahead to do a swap this month: thought it should be something simple, so we can get ourselves back in the swing of things. So it's just one ATC (easy to make); stash included (to give a bit of a challenge); direct to the recipient (avoids remembering return postage, return address etc).

You make one ATC, using a minimum of 5 and a maximum of 8 components (4 identical brads, for example, would be just one component, as would gems, eyelets, pearls and other small items). Put the ATC in an envelope and seal it. Post the envelope, together with an identical set of components, to your recipient (to be advised by me after sign-up). When you receive your package, make an ATC with all the components; then open the envelope and post a picture of both ATCs. It'll be interesting to see how different they are.

Please note: if you use a plain piece of card as the base of your ATC, this doesn't count as one of the components.

Sign up by January 18th, ATCs/stash to be posted by January 28th.

In case anyone is having trouble getting to the Post Office, or if people are not having a postal delivery (like we didn't on Monday), don't worry too much if the ATCs aren't there dead on time, especially if this bad weather continues.

Posted mine today, it went through the postal slot no problem as I had managed to stick everything on a card, so they would not bulk up.

Mine is posted with a large letter stamp on the way to work this morning, I have use low tack to stick it all to the envelope so hopefully there should be no problem.

Posted. May have gone slightly OTT with the envelope, but there are brads in it and didn't want to risk anything else!
