Re: Jo's visit to Lynda
Fabby photos, Lynda! *waves to all of you*
Jo - well, I'm absolutely gobsmacked at the change in Rosie!!!! I mean, William is growing up too, but Rosie is quite the young lady now!! Nice to see Bob too. I think that's the first time I've seen him!

First picture, from left: Bob, Jo, Lynda and Steve at back, Rosie at front.
Second picture, from left: Bob, Jo, Lynda and William, Rosie at front.
The bay window is gorgeous as you say, Kim: there is an identical one on the floor above (which used to be our lounge when Mum and Dad lived downstairs). Not so gorgeous in the winter, though as, despite the double glazing, all that glass doesn't help when you're trying to heat the house!
Hope Jo, Bob, Rosie and William get home safely this evening.

Yes, we were sorry too, Patty. I told Jo that you were really busy this week, after Maria had left.

Re: Jo's visit to Lynda
I would like to say a BIG thank you to Lynda and Steve for welcoming us into their gorgeous home and feeding us a fantastic lunch. WE really enjoyed ourselves.
We did go on the pier afterwards Lynda. We walked along it and could see the lightening on the horizon, took us 20 mins to get to the end, lol. We then just caught the train back when the horendous sleet storm started!
Our journey back to the campsite put a bit of a dampner on the day to say the least. The traffic was horrendous, took us 3 1/2 hours to get back! Needles to say tempers were geting a bit frayed by that time, car was really low on petrol and we were very hungry. But thank you for a wonderful afternoon.
Bobs you are right about Rosie, she isn't a little girl anymore. She's also taller than me now, we checked in the mirror tonight. I aint amused, lol.
Patty I was sorry too, but can't be helped.

Re: Jo's visit to Lynda
Glad to hear from you, Jo: thought your absence might be down to not having recovered from the after-effects of the lunch, lol!
Sorry you had such a dreadful journey back, though. Was it the dreaded A12?

Re: Jo's visit to Lynda
Lynda it took us over an hour to do a 12 min journey according to TomTom to get out of Southend before we got stuck on A12 too. Was horrendous. Is it always like that?
Boy I would hate to work in Southend and have to go home that way everynight!

Re: Jo's visit to Lynda
The longest it's taken us to get out of Southend on the A127 is 20 minutes, Jo: even during the rush hour, the queues are usually on the way back into Southend rather than the way out. Suspect there must have been a problem somewhere.
