HERE'S JOHNNY! (or the axe man).
For a Stephen King challenge. My theme - The Shining.
I googled Stephen King and found a couple of images that I thought were perfect. One was a PC wallpaper of a man holding an axe and the other a cartoon sketch of the man himself (I hope it's ok to use them). Both were manipulated in photoshop as they weren't quite what I wanted. Then, I stuck the man with axe onto a manilla tag and inked it all over using brushed corduroy and fired brick distress ink pads, then edged it with walnut stain and black soot. I stamped the background corners using a Kaisercraft stamp and the cracks using an Andy Skinner stamp. The blood was also an Andy Skinner stamp which is from his steampunk set, and I think it's actually an oil spill.
I went to the internet again and found a picture of the Olsen twins and then heavily manipulated it in Photoshop, printed it onto acetate and stuck it on with glossy accents. The text was computer generated using the font 'Chiller' and then printed onto Safmat and stuck on. I finished the tag off with some antique brads and the key.

Re: HERE'S JOHNNY! (or the axe man).
Well I haven't seen it, this reassures me that I don't want to, is Johnny in the film or is it John Lennon?
Anyway that's irrelevant. Er, very effective piece, I don't want to look at it again, believe it or not that's a compliment.
I like the key LOL but probably wouldn't if I knew the significance of it.

Think I lean towards Karelyn on this one, Lorraine - although it's an impressive piece of work.

I have CDO. It's like OCD, but the letters are in alphabetical order, just like they should be.
