And ANOTHER BOX..... (image heavy)

Another project that was a bit difficult to photograph, but I hope you get the idea. This box holds 3 file folders and 3 mini albums and each one, is again full of pockets and flaps. The inside lid also has pockets. It opens into a writing slope (as long as you're not too heavy handed, lol). The name comes from the fact that it's for Mia and Aidan and hopefully their children and their children's children. I want them to know that I'm more than just 'Grandma', that I have thoughts and feelings, likes and dislikes. Basically, I want them to know ME. As I'm not getting on well at all with scrapping my Book of Me, I thought I may be more inclined to fill this. A LOT of work, but I think, so worth it.





















Each page in the larger album has a different sentiment stamped onto it. What you're looking at is a wrap with its own pockets and flaps. It slips off the underpage and that flaps open for more pics or journalling.

This is absolutely mind-blowing, Lorraine! did you design it yourself, or was it from a tutorial? I'm always drawn to writing slopes (not that we have room for one) as I've always written letters and I used to do calligraphy too. I love the colours, I love the charms on the side, I love the complexity of it - I just love it! What papers did you use?

Yes this is utterly wonderful, you are so clever. This is fanatastic idea too adn knocks spots of a book of Me, if you ask me anyway. As usual with your things, its beautifully made with lovely papers and sentiments and I think it will be a fabulous treasure to pass down the years, I am so glad you are going to do some scrapping about YOU too, not just the kids.

This is the best thing youve ever made I reckon, its lovely and you would pay an absolute fortune for one of those, and it wouldnt be half as nice.

I think Maria sums it up. Another masterpiece to treasure and nice the books can be kept together.

I wish I could say that I designed it, but no. It's another from Paper Phenomenon.

It took nearly 2 weeks to make and some days I was at it for 11 hours!!!! Papers are Ella Blue by GCD Studio.

Gulp, this is indeed a stunning piece of work. Everything about it is beautiful starting with the pupose of it.
