well this must qualify cos I NEVER scrap pics of babies or young children and so SURELY this counts? (yes I know there are real people in it as well).

This is my cousin and his wife (cousin is the brother of Shangahi Emma) and their daughter Jasmine, (I think that makes Jasmine my second cousin). shes 2 (ish) and they were out here in the summer for Uncle Joe's 70th bash.

OMG - you actually scrapped Jasmine!!! Can't believe it, but I can vouch for the fact that it is definitely out of your comfort zone. Lovely layout too! You should scrap her more often.

Love it, Maria. Mr Green

But...you really MUST tell us what papers you use, 'cause that's totally gorgeous and I want some. Very Happy

i just posted but it has dissapeared????? how odd.

the papers are Crate Papers and its form Blue Hill Collection and that particular one was called Sky. I have two others from the same series (bougth them in a kit so i would know it matched)and they are even better (wasnt going to use my very best one on a layout of a kiddy now was I?)

I hope nobody thinks I am being mean about kiddies - I dont mean anything by it, just not my thing and I find them all intimidating amongst other things - Im not really a monster.

Yes Kim, you really should see her with a child ... it just makes me roll up! She can never, ever, ever see the nice side of any kiddies and give her a pic of one eating or drinking and she is almost physically ill!!!! I hasten to add that although she got lots of things from me, this wasn't one of them!

kim is right... that is the only J in the pack as it happens, otherwise I would have used the capital in the first place.

sorry if its glaring at you Goaty!

Oohh Miss Picky. LOL

Maria it's a lovely LO and you made a great job seeing as it's outside your comfort
zone. I also like capital letters at the beginning, but it doesn't bother me in crafting -
often looks nicer in lower case.

so if i did a layout outside my comfort zone it would include:

something scary or too gory....or morphing

no capitals letters, or capitals in wrong places....

things that are not ? crickey i forgot the word...Celfy knows what i mean where it has to match, fall within kind of regimented look..?? help me Celfy!!

abstract, random...i really cant do random...anymore than i can do precise... Mad

PMSL - pot and kettle! Coming as it does from someone who didn't start a single sentence in that post with a capital letter!

How did I miss this, thanks Weirdy for popping it back up.
I'm with Goaty on the caps front, couldn't do it on a LO. Had to once because there were not Caps, but made it a cap by using the waste outline from another different coloured set of letters and putting that around the offending first letter. Probably made worse by working with kids who fail to use one capital in a whole page of writing.
Anyway, lovely LO, I really like the flower centre thingies, and those papers.
