Emerald spiral & Cab

Ok, this is what ive been upto the past week (well not just this, a few other things too, but this was my main priority)

Ive made this for my mum to give her friend for christmas, its taken about 8hrs work to complete doing it bit by bit, now my mum wants me to make a gold one for her other friend

That's very striking, Carol: am sure your Mum's friend will love it. Poor you, having to start all over again for the other friend - are you like me, and aren't keen to repeat exactly the same project immediately after the previous one?

Thanks everyone for all your lovely comments it was a lot of work (hours) but i think it turned out fab, and was worth every minute i put into it!

I have showed it to my mum, told her how long it took, and that i would charge £60 for it if she was a customer (i know, expensive, i told a little white fib lol) As my mum has only paid me for the cost of the components, and i dont know if she intends to pay me anything for all that time i put into making it.

I also told her that i didnt think it was a good idea to have another one made similar/different colour as it wasnt so personal to the person receiving it.

I have also told her to leave it with me and i will think of something else to make for her other friend (something easier and
not so time consuming lol).
