This is the photo of my Gramph that we didn't know where it had gone. Its a bit small here but hopefully you can see some detail.
He is on the right hand side. The engines belonged to the local Squire who he worked for from the age of 12 until he eventually went to work at the Yeovilton Airbase looking after the steam boilers.
The chap on the left could possibly be his father, Tony picked him out as my Gramph purely from this photo so there is certainly a family likeness.

So glad you have a copy of it Di, would anyone who is left be able to say if that is his father?

It's wonderful to be able to get hold of such early 'photos of the family, Di - do hope that you manage to confirm whether or not it's your great-grandfather on the 'photo with him.

All details go on the back of pics, have some old ones that I don't know all of them for that very reason Kim.
I am trying to do an album to go with the family tree Karelyn.

I know a bit about Gramphs life because I have a recording of him talking about it (also one of my Nan) for the Rural Life Museum in Glastonbury.

What a wonderful old photo. No wonder you're chuffed, Di.
