Don't worry, Billie - both the senders of your Secret Santa and your Forum Christmas Card have said they would take the pictures before they posted to you.

Neither has mine, Billie, and I think there's a few others, too. Hopefully they will all get there today (for those who've not seen their post) or tomorrow.

Think I'd better mark whose has arrived and whose not.

Have just checked: Kate has been on the forum - last time was in the early hours of today. Hopefully, she will post to say whether she's received her card and her SS and whether her Mum has received her card.

Post by lyndaejane Mon 28 Dec 2015 - 16:32

I have updated the first post with (a) the cards that people have said on here that have arrived and (b) the date that people PM'ed me to say they'd mailed the cards.

Kim mailed to Ruth on the 16th, but it hasn't arrived yet. Billie has mailed on the 19th, but don't know whether it's arrived. Haven't been told about any of the others, so don't know whether they've been mailed and, if they have been, whether they've been received.

WOULD EVERYONE WHO WENT IN FOR THIS SWAP, PLEASE CONFIRM (IF YOU HAVEN'T ALREADY DONE SO IN A PM TO ME) THAT YOU MAILED YOUR CARD, AND WOULD THOSE WHO HAVEN'T SAID THEIR CARD HAS ARRIVED, PLEASE CONFIRM WHETHER IT HAS OR NOT. KATE - YOU WILL HAVE TO BE PROXY FOR YOUR MUM HERE.

KATE - did your Mum receive her card from Cath?

Other than that, as it stands:

Kim still to put on a picture of her card from Alison (been busy with family)
Cath still to put on a picture of her card from Billie (been busy at work)
Kim posted her card to Ruth on the 16th and it hasn't arrived (as far as I know)
Alison hasn't received her card from Kate, posted the weekend before Christmas
I haven't received my card from Lindy, posted the weekend before Christmas

Seems like a pretty poor show by Royal Mail, to lose three cards out of 11.

Post by lyndaejane Mon 1 Feb 2016 - 13:08

I never received mine from Linday and, as far as I know, Alison didn't receive hers from Kate - as I said before, pretty poor show from Royal Mail.

Whilst we're here, I was waiting until Cath felt better and Kim was up to coming onto the forum, to ask if we could have some pictures of cards, please? Kim - we haven't got a piccie of your card from Alison, nor have we got one of Billie's card to Cath. Kate hasn't been on here for ages, but we haven't got a picture of the one her Mum got from Cath, assuming she received it.

Thanks.
