Art Journal.
Cover: using acrylic paints. (finger blended).
Inside cover: using Tim Holtz tissue, pan pastels and a little bit of distress marker.
Background: using acrylic paints, pan pastels, distress inks and Inktense watercolour pencils. I have an idea what I'm going to put on this, but it's not 100% 'there' yet.

Re: Art Journal.
Lovely journal pages Lorraine.
I love art journaling. Shame we couldn't do some on here as swaps.

We could Cynthia, we're always open to ideas, and this is a good one, would you like to organise one for May?

Re: Art Journal.
Fabulous work, as usual, Lorraine.
How would we work a swap if it was only one month, Karelyn? Can't see any of us making a whole journal in one month and if it was only a page we would need to do it over several months?

Re: Art Journal.
Wouldn't like to organise one but certainly take part in one.
On the other groups I'm in, we work on DLO usually just sending the pages round no covers we make them once completed or send a light art journal book around in a jiffy bag to keep postage down. They seem to work well.

Re: Art Journal.
I wasn't really thinking about us doing a whole journal maybe a postcard sized piece, unless anyone wants to start up a journal, we used to have the circle journals which er, sometimes worked! You would have to limit the amount of tape Lorraine is allowed to put on the packaging, I remember that even now, took ages to get in to the loveliness!

Re: Art Journal.
Maybe, rather than sending a whole journal, we could have alternate months where people made a page - if we set a standard size (either for covering the whole page or mounting on a page, which could be various sizes up to the maximum) it would save sending the whole thing. It would also mean that we only have to think up a few other swaps for the rest of the months! Cynthia has certainly started something here!

Re: Art Journal.
I think a set size would be better then if you were adding them into a journal they would fit ok.

Gorgeous Lorraine love the colours. Have never done anything like this but would be interested if it was a swap.

Re: Art Journal.
Great pages love the eye on the front page and the colours on the back one are beautiful

Re: Art Journal.
Finished page. Â For the first one in the journal, I'm pleased with this. Â I CAN'T BELIEVE I missed the 'A' out of boundaries though. Â Really peed off with myself for that, but I've just doodled one in now. Â I wouldn't dream of doodling on my scrapbook pages, but this...well, it just doesn't matter, lol. Â The flowers are doodled too.

Only boundary is your spelling, Lorraine! Great first page, though.

It's Cilla! This is fun without being creepy like some of the work in CS. Liking that crackle border.

Re: Art Journal.
Are we going to create some journal pages for swaps then?
What is CS? I must admit I do like stampotique and Octopode stamps and have some brilliant images from Mischief circus too.
