New outfit!
This is almost finished. Made from curtains from a friend. I couldn't decide wether to pop a bow on the back of the jacket. But think i will. It's supposed to have corset ties, but it's too much with the pattern I think.
Needed something at the neck and literally picked up left over bits i was working with and pinned it on. So still that to make. I didn't have enough for the skirt flounce, so dyed some of the curtain lining olive and added the gold chiffon on top.

No, I'm not putting my 'to do' list here, that would be far to organised, PLUS I would have to keep it up to date
Re: New outfit!
I'm just amazed at how you keep coming up with these wonderful outfits, Jo!

It was a right bugger to match the stripes! As they were patterned as well as stripy. It's a pattern Lynda, so just made it. I have some more gorgeous curtains someone has given me in a baby blue with white lace trim. Planning what to do with those now. Love curtains as there is so much material on them. Especially when they are going to be thrown away.
Just sorted out that little point on the collar. It was annoying me lol. I

Re: New outfit!
I made a Tudor lady's dress years and years ago from some brocade curtains, Jo. Still got it, but doubt I'd get in it now.
