Japanese book binding
We folded the paper and then dipped the corners or edges into pigments.unfolded and voila! All different effects. The first two were a cheaper paper to get the hang of it and then we used good mulberry paper.
Sakura then showed us how to make a book using traditional Japanese book binding methods. I split my paper to make one with less pages for me and the other for Rosie to keep her Japanese memories or to plan in.

Re: Japanese book binding
Fabulous effects from the pigments, Jo! Remember the various Japanese bindings from college, must have some samples somewhere. Bet Rosie will love her book.
