Cath did post that mine had arrived to her, but it isnt up yet and i didnt take a photo of it, so hopefully Cath will do that when she has a minute.

Im off to Toulouse for Christmas tomorrow, so only one more chance for the card and ornament to come here Im afraid.... I dont leave till after the post though. Theres only one more date it could arrive anyway as we have no post on sunday or christmas eve . I hope it comes, but well, loads of people are telling me they have sent stuff that hasnt arrived yet - it takes ages this time of year, i think it gets bogged down in the uk (the french dont send cards) so im just letting you know really, will report in tomorrow before I leave anyway.

I know that your swap was sent by the last posting date for France, Maria, so hopefully it will arrive tomorrow.

Im sorry, I have waited for the post and it contained 3 christmas cards, one of them is postmarked 10th December (which was the last posting date from the uk), its unreadable on the others - the Canny card isnt in there im afraid so i will have to wait till after Christmas, sorry.

The last posting date given by Royal Mail from UK to France was the 18th, Maria - may have been different from France to England. Your swap was posted on Saturday 15th, so should have been there before Christmas. May arrive tomorrow, but having been posted two postal working days before the last date I would have thought it should have arrived earlier than your last delivery in France tomorrow.

There's something gone badly wrong with post to France this year I posted my UKS SS on 6th Dec to France and it hasn't got there, pretty miffed about that. Going to put a claim in which might make it turn up!

There’s something badly wrong with Royal Mail this year full stop. Two packages posted to me on 13th Dec from within the uk are yet to arrive, one is a birthday present for Phil( it’s today) and the other is the girls Christmas presents ( which despite me having spent £133 the company sent untracked).

Sorry but no way will it have got here from 15th, its only 21st today and the last post before xmas is tomorrow. Im afraid it IS the english side, the french dont send cards so arent bogged down. Mine to cath took less than the usual 4 days. Mandys been fretting about the one she said she posted on 11th, no sign of it yet. 6th dec posting for your ss should get here by tomorrow though karelyn... parcels last date was 8th. Cards and letters 10th, thats what info i got from french site for posting england to france. Same thing happened last year. I was getting cards all through january, i think they must just put the sacks aside that havent made the date. I dont kniw where they got 18th from, the RM, that would only be 4 wkg days and it takes that when its not christmas.

Sorry anyway, to be trouble. I thought i had said it needed to be posted by the 10th but if i did i cant see where i did. Not to worry in any case, you arent alone withthis dodgy info from RM, at least 4 other people are telling me they sent things by the last posting date but they chose to follow RM guidelines, not mine!

That's a direct lift from the Royal Mail website - would be interesting to know whether mail got to the other three countries in time as well? I think that next year you should let us know the last posting date from France to UK, Maria, and we'll use that, rather than Royal Mail's dates.

It's so disappointing when things don't arrive on time.

My Uncle posted all his cards from Hawaii on 1st December, there were 3 coming to me (2 birthdays and one Christmas), Sam's card arrived 7th, Christmas card arrived 10th, Rob's card 14th. Christmas card to Mum and dad arrived 13th.

Right well it was me that sent to you Maria, I did ask if I should send to you at the address on here or to wherever you are spending Xmas and Lynda thought to the one on here. I posted in plenty of time and it cost me a fortune to post so I am extremely sorry it hasn't arrived. Incidentally I posted a sale to America and it got there quicker! Have a lovely Xmas. I still haven't got mine either but I don't mind. It will extend Xmas if it's not here in time. I seem to remember the same happened last year.

We didn't have JL's address anyway, but it obviously wouldn't have got there any sooner if that's how the post to France is behaving. Didn't remember about last year, but we'll definitely ignore Royal Mail next year!

No, I didn't get mine last year in time I think Lynda. The post is rubbish sometimes. I posted first class to someone last Saturday and they got it Thursday!

Lee was telling me this morning that he's had 3 parcels go missing that he knows he should have received by now.

That seems to be common problem these days Lorraine.

Tom's still waiting on delivery of something he ordered.

Just to say Jo's lovely card and decoration has just arrived - still time to put it up, thank you Joe and for the extras. I will post a pic as soon as i gt back from the hairdressers where i am rushing off to now, but wanted to let you know it had arrived and sorry it cost alot to post.

That's ok! It's not just for Xmas either luckily, lol. So can hang any time if the year.

I still haven't got my secret santa from an Instagram group. It's apparently coming from America so God knows how much that has cost her to post.
