Gary the darling bought me some lilly of the valley unmounted stamps for christmas Mr Green a cute dragon, unicorn & puppy.

However they seem to have a lot of rubber around the actual design and was wondering should i trim them back a bit?

You can, but try stamping with them and see if they need it.

If you need to trim the rubber, cut close to the image but make sure you don't undercut it. It will be difficult to stamp a good image if you do.

I trim as close as I can as otherwise I get ink on the wider edges and stamp it on the card

I also trim mine just around the design reduces the risk of making a mess when stamping the image.

I alter most things, I always have done if they don't suit me for the pupose I need them for.
RS are the easiest of all things to alter. Sometimes I cut a complete line out with a knife if I don't like it.
