Win Christmas Aperture cards.Closes Mon 6m 18 May
I have loads Christmas aperture cards size C6.
I used them last Christmas and used the iris folding with them and matted
them onto A5 cards.
There are 5 unopened packs (10 per pack), and over 25 loose cards. There are envelopes
as well, and some aperture card fronts which can be used as well. You will
be able to make over 100 cards.
If you would like to try and win the cards, Lorraine has given me the go ahead
to run a little comp. No skill involved - a simple guess.
My son took me to Hobbycraft about 3 weeks ago. I would like you to guess
how much money I spent. The winner will be the one who guesses closest to
the actual amount. Lorraine knows the total as well as me.
A couple of clues --
I bought a new small size X Cut trimmer, a table top box with compartments
for my bits and pieces, spray glue, 3 small art kits for the kids towards
Christmas and quite a few other things. I have hidden the receipt from Den
Please put your 'guesstimate' on this thread.
One entry per person please.
Comp will close next Monday 18th May at 6pm.
I am adding a couple of extra clues as folk are guessing too low.
I hadn't been to a craft shop for months as I had ill for sometime and I
went a little bit mad. THINK 3 FIGURES
Good luck

RIGHT - I am going to start this again. Everyone that has had a guess can try again.
Remember I had been very poorly and hadn't been to a craft shop for months
and I went overboard. Think 3 figures!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hadn't looked at this before as I thought it was a bit early for Christmas, then I saw your prompt, I hadn't realised you were hosting the comp, how generous of you.
I think Goaty's right we need a pic of your drawers LOL

Suzy - where did you get drawers from ????? I didn't buy drawers.
I bought a box approx 12 x 12 with compartments in to put all the
craft bits in that I use most often.

WINNER OF CHRISTMAS CARD COMP
Many were way out (£400 Suzy !!!!! Oh I wish) and some were
fairly close.
I actually spent £167. 56.
The closest - with a guess of £164.87 was Gingerjo.
Well done Jo. I will get them off to you in the next couple
of days. Hope you have fun using them.

Re: Win Christmas Aperture cards.Closes Mon 6m 18 May
I also have a lot of aperture cards I don't want, so if its okay with everyone I will send to the 2nd and 3rd which is Patty and Kim, I will sort them out so that there is less than the winner is getting, so let me know if its okay.

Re: Win Christmas Aperture cards.Closes Mon 6m 18 May
aaaw billie that is really nice of you , to be honest though i dont use aperture cards myself however my ladies at craft club do use them so i could use them as raffle prizes or challenge prizes , and raise a bit of money towards club rent etc , if that is ok with you ,if it isn't , then id rather you send them to someone else on here who will use them herself ( or hisself if its richard ) rather than collect dust on my desk , hope that does not sound selfish or unappreciative its not meant to .

Re: Win Christmas Aperture cards.Closes Mon 6m 18 May
THank you so much Steph, I cannot believe I won thesei. What I do want to know tho' is what did you buy?
I may use some at school and pass some on to guides and keep some ourselves for the kids to use. Like I said in my pm, please if possible could you wait before you post them, there is really no hurry and its easier to post to school. Less risk of postie leaving them outside in the rain too!!
