Re: Santa in a chimney
ruth ,,,the shading you have done on the santa suit ?? have you used a deeper red there ,or have you just gone over it again with the same colour ??
and did you go over the red with the blender after you had done the shading as it seems to have that mottling effect that the blender leaves or is that where you have coloured in small circles ??
so many ?????

I used red for the base of the suit then berry red for the shading, I usually used the blender but didn't this time although I used it on the sack and gloves
Re: Santa in a chimney
yes i could tell it was used on the sack and gloves , thats how you get the furry effect as i call it . thanks for telling me what you did , i thought i was doing something wrong with trying to get shading with same colour ,it does not always work that way does it ?

Re: Santa in a chimney
No some colours work really well as shaders, one of the blues that I can't remember the name of is one i have used a lot in the past
Re: Santa in a chimney
He's lovely and the shading is superb.
I am getting more and more into colouring. Den thinks I have
gone back to my childhood. I said on another thread that I have
just ordered a set of ther new promarker colours. Hope they come
quickly.
