Well, here he is, girls. As you can see, his little mouth is cleft, but as his nose and under it is intact, he should mend really well.

Oh bless, he's a fine baby, you know I don't know why you might have held the photo back, I was expecting far worse than that and I still would have wanted to see him. I feel for him and his parents, having to go through the ops but when the year is past then they will soon forget the bad bits. Give him a kiss from me

Maria when babies are born they can see approximately 12 inches which is the distance from the mother's breasts to their eyes

Oh, what a DARLING boy!!! He's gorgeous - cleft or no cleft! I just want to cuddle him and smell the top of his head to get that wonderful, unforgettable, baby smell.

He's is lovely, now I wouldn't, but I do want to do that awful thing (some) grannies do and tweak his chubby little cheeks, he's a lovely little fella and not scrawny like my DS2 was.
He could teach his dad a thing or 2 about growing hair, and of course he looks like a normal baby, he is a normal baby.

He is a normal baby Lou, just has a little difference. Beutiful and cuddly just like mine were. Rather have a chubby baby than a skinny one,lol. You don't feel like they will break.

There's a little girl who was in my class last year and she has obviously had a cleft and need an op, she looks fine and to be honest is one of the prettier girls out of the class. Clever too.

he is is a super cutey, i want to smell his head, kiss his cheeks and...touch his feet,,,,yes weird, but i hate feet, unless they are on a baby ??? work that one out. lol

I cant wait to see some pics with his eyes open, i bet they are beautiful too.

Thanks, girls. I think my use of the word 'normal' was a slip up. I should have said any other baby, but you know what I mean. He's very precious.
He's actually not as chubby as he looks in that photo, and today, his colour has faded a bit too.
