TEXTURED ALPHABET SWAP - Feb 2010

Well, I won't do THAT again.

When I did my alpha, I left it in the card thinking it would be easier. And, it was until last night when I put a sealant coat on it. Today, it was all stuck fast and I spent 2 hours trying to release the letters from the backing. I still haven't got them all out, but I'd had enough, lol.

Me too Karin . I gave up in the end after ruining 4 alphabets and settled
on some embossing.

I've just had a look at them all and they are all brilliant, any one of these sets would be a thrill to receive.
There's a lot of work there girls, i think I was right not to join as it must have taken a good while, but worth it, some very original ideas, well done all, a pleasure to look at. Looking forward to seeing them IRL next month, next month yay.

yes I too think its really great - Lorraine wins first prize for me here, followed by Tina and Alison in tie second place... gosh these ties are getting quite common these days, soon i will be saying 'Oh I couldnt possibly choose'.

I got Patty's, brilliant patty. See now you put them little beads on and thats what I tried to do, never even occured to me to try a glaze . Really lovely thank you.

I received Kim's purplicious set today! Some of the sprinkles have come off, but I will make godo use of them!

I got Tinas, thank you. Rosie said they look like rain drops.

I got Jo's which arrived this morning whilst we were out. Thank you Jo, they are lovely and waffly and can be used absolutely anywhere.

And I got mine from Alison. Commented on Alison's thread.

that was the idea and you could always rub some more ink over them in a different colour.

just a quickie before i go and look at everyone elses , thanks for running this lorraine and to maria ,i got yours and i am loving it ,it will match perfectly a countryside lo and guess where i have just spent a whole week ...in the countryside so shall use them up pretty quickly i imagine
