Todays Makes...Ink and Pro
The first card is coloured in using the few distress inks i have. I didn't realise that I actually had these lovely colours. I bought them when our shop was reducing them right down and they were the last few so got them even cheaper. I thought they were all variants of brown.
I did put water on my brush and it actually helped to thin out the colour of the 'pine' and 'marigold' on the unicorn and dress. Plus the mahogany I watered quite a bit, coloured the skin and then used a tissue to soak off the remainder which left the skin colour.
Lily has named this one Unicorn Sparkle
This one used the Promarkers, inc the new ones I got last night, and you can just make out that I used proper lace and coloured with my chalk inks, took a bit to stick it down though.
and Lily has named this one Unicorn Twilight
She has quite a few different unicorn toys now and these are two of the names. Just need to do a rainbow coloured Samantha now.

They're both smashing, Karin. Well done for trying the distress inks.

Very cute. I like the first one best. You've done well.
I haven't got any inks. Something else to go on the long want list.

KT will love these too, now why have I never thought of edging the bugged backgrounds with a punch, derr. That's the beauty of the forum eh, thanks for the idea, very girly and loving Lily's names.

I'd not thought of it either, only ever bugged them and stuck them. Saw it on net somewhere.

Oh, never realised you'd bugged and edged. That looks great. Clever you. I'll be trying that.

Thank you It was silver pearlised paper, bugged with divine swirl, then used a fiskers border bunch to edge it. BUT....I had to put a plain piece of paper behind the silver to edge, as the first piece frayed because I think it was too thin for the punch. With extra bit of paper it went through fine.
See I said I needed to start using these borders again, think they on way out though, some of them were a bit stiff.
