Shrink plastic?? Empty Shrink plastic??

Post by Scrap Monkey Tue 2 Mar 2010 - 21:43

Donkey's years ago, on the very old forum, I remember there being talk of shrink plastic, and which sort of packaging you can use. Can anyone remember what I need please?

I seem to remember it being the number '6' in the recycling triangle, but not sure.

I thought it was 5, but I think maybe I'm wrong as that is the number on the bottom of the plastic cups you get in vending machines. Having said that, they do shrink when hot !!!

Thanks Lou!

Steph, it's the little triangle that you get on a lot of plastic now, saying whether it can be recycled or not. Usually underneath packaging.

Tesco used to do maple pecan danish x 2 in the right sort of packaging; may have to investigate Shrink plastic?? Icon_wink

You learn something everyday. I have never heard of this.
So are you saying that certain plastics can be used as shrink plastic ?

the triangle is little arrows going round in that shape. Usually somewhere lower down on the packaging.
