Re: STASH SWAP - AUGUST 2010
Pics are up now girls, so you'll all know. Karelyn, yes, yours was from Tina.
Now, one was a bit short so I took from another to make it up.
You'll also notice that there isn't a piccie of mine, 'cause you'll never believe what I did. After posting...I was half way home and realised that I'd not packed mine up...so I didn't end up joining in!!!!! Doh!!!!
Poor Barbara in the PO was almost tearing her hair out. I had shed loads of stamps and she had to weigh every one and then I had to sort out stamps to fit the price or give her some money or whatever, but yes, it was a proper palaver, pmsl. It took about 20 mins to get them posted.

Yeah, just a bit, lol.
Kate, yours are from Karelyn. They HAD to come to you.
Sorting the packaging was fun too, lol. Some who got 12 x 12 back didn't send 12 x 12 so had to fit everything around and use some of my envies too. There's bits of paper stuck all over the posting labels and black marker pen on the old stamps. A proper mess.

Anyway, I'm well chuffed with my stash, and thank you for organising it all Lorraine!

No, I'm not putting my 'to do' list here, that would be far to organised, PLUS I would have to keep it up to date
Re: STASH SWAP - AUGUST 2010
Ah, well I would have done, but the 12 x 12 wouldn't fit in some of the return envies for people that never sent 12 x 12 but GOT 12 x 12. See?Scrap Monkey wrote:i thought you would just forward it on in the packaging that it arrived in?!

Re: STASH SWAP - AUGUST 2010
I think that must have been one of the most tricky to sort out, well done, and for keeping the post office in business. We have to use it or lose it, there's a friend of mine who runs an internet business in our village and posts her parcels at about 3.30 when it's usually quiet and I often pop in on my way back from school when she's there. Poor woman she's always so apologetic, but I really don't mind, it's what keeps our post office open.
You have to have a sense of humour to work in these places.
Glad KT liked the papers, you might not have got them, there are others with dogs LOL

Re: STASH SWAP - AUGUST 2010
Oh, Cath. How did I do that? Must have been when I was 'putting' names on each envi or box. I'm so sorry.
In reply to your question on Steph's thread, Karelyn - yes I still have my own, lol. My pack was on the table and I was on the floor labeling the boxes and envies and putting stash where it was to go. Instead of putting one on the table and taking mine down, I put them all on envies so ended up swapping everything but mine.
Again, sorry about Cath's image.
