Thought I'd better come on here and say that, with regret, I think I'm going to have to say no to this one, Lorraine. Really did think we'd be up straight enough by this time to be able to do what I wanted, crafting-wise. Oh well, there's always next Christmas.

I think it's up to you Emma, last year Helen made me 3 handmade items but they were part of a matching set (think there are pics somewhere on here!) and sent me a load of stash as the £5 pressie.

I am considering this year doing 1 handmade items and a stash selection depending on what I find! Mmmmmm shall I go to bed or start surfing craft shops

Yes, Emma. The gift can be stash, hun. It doesn't have to be like...smellies or chocs or anything.

The limit is set to avoid embarrassment as when somebody sends shed loads and somebody else sticks to the rules they feel awful. However, not many stick to the rules, lol.

Well, that's what I put but some need to be posted earlier for one reason or another.

i have all the pressies done just need to do the handmade thing,
i will be posting tommorow i hope,
i think last posting date for standard surface parcels is wednesday this week.

i hope to be posting this week. dh is in hospital as of last night. i am still participating so don't worry.

I was going to post Thursday.
this is what the Royal Mail website says, but I don't think I'll have finished my handmade bit by then, the rest is ready to go.

I was a bit worried about these getting there on time as parcels are taking ages to arrive here. Plus if we get the snow that IS NOT going to happen, they will take longer.

I'll post tomorrow. It might go as a packet anyway, but as above, things are looking a bit dodgy, so I think I'll get it in ASAP.
I do sometimes think they like to scare us a bit with stories, but with all the snow, I can well believe that people took advantage of the ability to order online, so there is a higher volume than is usual.

I've only just got some beads today that supposedly were posted on 3rd, yet two other parcels posted same day arrived a few days ago.

Mine is going in the post today; it's packed already and in one of the post sacks at work, so it may as well; I'd hate it not to arrive!

So is mine, I ordered some Pashmina style shawls 7 weeks ago but they have not arrived the company is sending out some more hope I get them before christmas.

What a good day, just before i went out to lunch I heard a knock at door and a later postie handed me a grey baggy....i opened it of course...well it was addressed to me, didnt recognise writing..but i am sure the pinky girly wrapped pressies are mine from a super secret santa....no clue on postmark...no letter or card unless its inside the pressies somewhere...but i am leaving them un-molested under the tree, they look so pretty x thank you........dont forget that you mustn't own up yet secret santas x

Well if it's addressed to you looks like a safe bet.
DH is collecting 2 parcels today for me and I have another note through the door today, must be a strange postie, as mine usually puts them in the shed.

Well I put a note inside the gift for when it is opened Chrsistmas day.....
Is yours going to last that long Suzy ? I doubt it, although hard to believe just
over a week to go.

KKarelyn, I think there are a lot of temp posties this time of
year so it probably isn't your usual postie.

I have in front of me, a silver bag with 'Snow is falling' (I wish) on the front and a card which says do not open until 25th.
I think it's from here, but it could be from my UKS team, so trying to cover both eventualities, thank you someone.

Well, there's me thinking loads hadn't been posted as I'm not getting the pm's and here they are!!!! lol.

i got 2 notes from a parcel company that ive never heard off so need to check that out to see what it is.not pleased if it is real as they never knocked or anything!!
