And this is my kitchen now its painted (B&Q Water) but there is now a toaster, kettle and knife block on the longer bench.

Re: My Kitchen with and without wall cupboards
Thanks for liking,
AH yes but, I told him he had said yes at 3am and he fell for it, Or he agreed when they went onto 15% discount plus staff discount and the old ones didn't go with the new colour.
This has to do me till we either move or win lots and want to redo.
LOL and that KT.

Re: My Kitchen with and without wall cupboards
Oh that is really nice, love the colour. The paint tin that previously held up one of the cupboards did have a certain charm though, I thought .

No, I'm not putting my 'to do' list here, that would be far to organised, PLUS I would have to keep it up to date
Re: My Kitchen with and without wall cupboards
mine is a bloody awful mess too Lorraine, am green with envy at everyone with a fitted kitchen, it is so hard to keep the unfitted sort clean.
Alison, it looks lovely, well done on all counts.

Like those shiny white doors. How on earth did you manage with no wall cupboards before? lol. Pretty colour too.
I would like to change my kitchen doors for something more modern, the unit bases are fine just the frontage looks dated.

Re: My Kitchen with and without wall cupboards
Di, B&Q have lots of sales in the year when the doors are on offer, (not all of them) but the big cut is the January event massive savings to to had then. These doors were half price and so only £18.50 for the bigsest ones. it does add up though.
Thanks all for the nice comments, so glad its liked.

Re: My Kitchen with and without wall cupboards
We had our kitchen done 1n 1996. Den said the other day that we could
do with a new kitchen. I said forget it - this one is good for a few years
yet. I couldn't go through all that mess again.

Re: My Kitchen with and without wall cupboards
That's why I would be quite happy with just replacing the doors Steph lol. The actual cupboards are fine, 5 floor cupboards, a larder cupboard and 6 wall cupboard plus a half one over cooker, 5 drawer fronts and like Alison said it soon mounts up. Tiling we altered only a few years ago and flooring good for long time yet.

Looks lovely Ali, I like that colour too, very nice. Think I might have to have a go at ours next year, we did it a yellow colour, but as its white tiles I would like to freshen it upwith something brighter.

Re: My Kitchen with and without wall cupboards
I would love a new kitchen however the fact is that all mine really needs is a coat of paint on the cupboard doors (handmade solid wood doors as previous owner was a joiner) and a new worktop on one side as it's a wooden thing and has all manner of stains on it
