Re: Tutu Pretty
Their made with voile material Billie.
Any animal in this house gets used to being dressed up pretty quick LOL! The elastic isn't too tight but tight enough to stay on, also as I said their 3/4 so shouldn't irritate them too much lol

Re: Tutu Pretty
Aww so cute.
I was talking about your puppies last week with my Mum. She was telling me about someone on the park that has recently got a cute little puffball of fluff. that it had one parent that is a dog with no hair and the other does. She'd got it off the net.
I immediately thought ofyou, but none of us could remember what type of dogs they are LOL, not much good eh.

Re: Tutu Pretty
that is an awesome tutorial and extremely easy to do...
I do have one question tho...do you know if you can change white tulle to a colored tulle with something like alcohol ink....or other crafting product other than dye I bought a ton of white on clearance and haven't used it for anything hoping I can change the color.....Jodi

Re: Tutu Pretty
I have no idea Jodie... you'll have to play then let us know LOL
I'd only be worried that alcohol inks are expensive to use and you could use quite a lot trying to dye enough tulle for tutus

very true....
I'll have to play and see what I can come up with.....I don't use dye too much....and with everything I have in my craft supplies there has to be something ...

Just don't wear them in the rain afterwards!!!
Might be tricky dying them as I think it's a nylon type thread, yes have a go on a little bit and let us know

Re: Tutu Pretty
Thanks for that name Kate, will pass it on to my Mum, so cute.
Wonder ifyou could die it with stazon. lay it on plain paper and ink, then the paper will be patterened too, leave to use another day LOL. I once altered net curtain material with ink pads.

Re: Tutu Pretty
I had some white tulle left over from a project and my daughter could not wait to make a tutu she has one finished for my grand daughter lexy and she accented it with some cute fake pink daiseys that we had picked up at the dollar store .....I will post pics this afternoon she finished it while baby was sleeping so have to wait till she wakes to dress her up in it....
my daughter has found something fun and easy to make and since everyone she knows has baby girls she will have lots of requests....question tho should I post my pic here or should I post a new thread....
