July patchwork block
The brief this month was : The block MUST consist of 9 x 4 1/2 inch squares joined together. 4 or 5 MUST be made of half square triangles and the other 5 or 4 must be different. which gave us loads of different blocks to choose from. I ended up doing 'paths and gates' or 'paths and stiles', possibly my favourite so far. Fabric choices all courtesy of Lynda this month

No, I'm not putting my 'to do' list here, that would be far to organised, PLUS I would have to keep it up to date

Re: July patchwork block
Those two fabrics look very good together, Tina: like your choice of block to go with the triangles.

Re: July patchwork block
This one was made with my 'new' machine, pic with last month's block. I tend to do the patchwork by machine, then quilt by hand.kimb wrote:pretty , do you sew by hand or machine tina?

Re: July patchwork block
Super work. These are going to be wonderful when assembled. Is there a blog or something we can see when they're all done?

Re: July patchwork block
Not sure, bear in mind they all go to different places, but they might feature in the magazine when they're finished. You will see mine, at least!thriftycrafter wrote:Super work. These are going to be wonderful when assembled. Is there a blog or something we can see when they're all done?
