Ornaments Empty Ornaments

Post by lyndaejane Mon 15 Dec 2014 - 19:37

Been making various ornaments.

Ornaments Orname10

Top one is a button tree, with a button star on the top; left hand one is a button snowman; right hand one is a wooden cotton reel, decorated with sheet music, pearls and German glitter and with a German glitter star hanging from it - all these copied for ideas on the Internet.  Bottom one is a spiral wire wreath, done at Jewellery Group.

Ornaments Orname11

Top is the beaded bauble we made at Jewellery Group, also the green wire tree and the pearl snowflake. The Santa bauble on the left and the music present at the bottom are Internet ideas - present is made round a cube of polystyrene packaging which I've had for years - always knew it would get used one day.

No, I'm not putting my 'to do' list here, that would be far to organised, PLUS I would have to keep it up to date  Laughing

They're smashing Lynda. All are lovely, but I do love the music ones.

That dark blue one is sumptuous, and the snowflake/star, best, they're all good.

We did most of the blue beaded one at last month's Jewellery Group (finished at home): the pearl snowflake was one of the three projects we did at the day workshop - and I'm never doing one again! It's nigh on impossible to get the wire pulled through; it broke once and I nearly said a rude word. But I was determined to finish it.

LOL at your nearly saying a rude word Lynda, well done on finishing it in that case. I'm going to have a go a the button decs once I'm all sorted and it calm again.

I made button trees and snowmen with the kids at school last year, they loved them. Also did some little people with pipe cleaner legs and arms. Lovely, I like the santa bauble.
